The article examines the peculiarities of the development of innovative parks as a modern phenomenon of urbanism. The key aspects of the creation and functioning of innovation parks, their role in stimulating economic growth, increasing the competitiveness of regions and promoting scientific and technical progress are highlighted. The main goal of the presented work is to determine the features of the development of modern innovation parks, as a special phenomenon of the development of modern urbanism. The main research methods are: analysis and synthesis to determine the features of the development of modern innovation parks, as well as to study the factors influencing the development of innovation parks; methods of induction and deduction to identify challenges and prospects for the development of modern innovative parks as part of the modern urban system; method of comparison; modeling method; as well as graphical and tabular methods for visual display of research results. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of factors contributing to the successful development of innovation parks, such as infrastructure support, availability of qualified personnel, cooperation between scientific institutions and enterprises, as well as favorable regulatory conditions. An analysis of the ecological aspects of the development of innovation parks is also presented. It was determined that the implementation of environmentally friendly technologies and principles of sustainable development are important components of the strategy for the development of innovative parks, and also contribute to reducing the environmental burden on urban areas and improving the quality of life of residents. The article also examines the challenges and prospects faced by innovation parks in the context of globalization and digitalization. It is concluded that a comprehensive approach to the development of innovation parks is necessary to ensure their effective functioning and maximum contribution to the development of urban agglomerations
